Lancaster is in the southwest corner of Wisconsin near the Iowa and Illinois borders. It is 220 miles from Chicago, 249 miles from Minneapolis and 85 miles from Madison.
It is an hour drive from Galena (IL), 25 minutes from Dubuque (IA), 15 minutes from Platteville (WI) and 30 minutes from Praire du Chien (WI).
Maple Harris gets its name from the two streets that border it. Maple Street is the north border of the Grant County Courthouse Square in the center of Lancaster. Two blocks west is Harrison Street.
