Carriage House
The Carriage House started life from humble origins: the original owners kept their carriage there and housed additional staff in the uppper part of the building. Sold off for a time in the mid 1900s, it was reaqcuired in 2000 and been completely renovated. It now houses two completely self-contained suites, each with separate entrances and off street parking.
Each suite is fully furnished with a queen sized bed, a queen sized sofa bed, cable television, alarm clock, ironing board and iron, kitchen facilities such as a coffe and tea facilities, microwave, hot plate, mini refrigerator, cutlery and dishware. Each can sleep up to a family of four. The ground floor suite is ADA accessible and linked to the main house via a brick path and ramp. It also has a front patio bordered by a seasonal flower bed.
With the increased privacy and freedom to come and go at will, the Carriage House suites are ideal for extended stays of a week or more, especially when visiting relatives or doing business in the local area.
Specially priced extended stay reservations of a week or more are available for the Carriage House. These can be with or without daily breakfasts in the main dining room - please enquire.
